All-clear

The bomb has been defused

And it took less than half an hour.

All of a sudden, everything happened fast. Defusing the bomb took Rainer Woitschek from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the Arnsberg district government less than half an hour. At 12:55 p.m. on 23 June 2020, the whole thing was over for the RUB campus, the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and the adjacent housing estate. The lockdown of the eastern part of the campus could be lifted.
