Holidays Ruhr University takes a two-week break
Reduce electricity consumption and turn down the heating: The university saves energy and closes all buildings over the turn of the year.
At the turn of the year, Ruhr University will be closed from December 23, 2023 to January 7, 2024 in order to save energy costs. As in the previous year, the entire university will be closed – including the external buildings. The only exception is the University Library, which will reopen on January 2.
